Tim BarnardTim Barnard

Yet another staff member who has been a part of Summer Adventure since it’s inception, Tim Barnard is a senior at St. John’s Prep. Tim enjoys playing baseball as well as acting, and he is very involved in the drama department. Tim also enjoys playing football and throwing shotput. Tim’s favorite activities include high climbing and the end of the week firepit.

Mike BarryMike Barry

Mike Barry, a senior at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, has been at Camp 40 Summer Adventure for the past six years. A 2007 graduate of Wilmington High School, Mike now spends his time studying and perfecting his craft, acting and performing for many of the theatrical performances put on by his school. Mike also has a passion for music and football, and he was named Captain of the high school football team in his senior season. Mike’s favorite activities are Arachnophobia and anything that involves high climbing.

Rich BarryRich Barry

Rich, yet another member of the inaugural Camp 40 Summer Adventure, is a senior at Wilmington High School. This year, Rich is the President of the Rotary Interact Club. In addition, he played on the varsity football team as a wide receiver, as well as running indoor and outdoor track. Rich is undecided on where he will he be attending college, however he is deciding between UMass-Amherst, Westfield State and UMass-Dartmouth.

Allie BleierAllie Bleier

Allie is another staff member who has been at camp since it’s start. A Wilmington High School senior, Allie plans on attending Emmanuel College in Boston. Allie plays soccer, is in the National Honor Society, is a part of SADD, words with Mentor Leadership, volunteers with TOPS Soccer, and is a member of the marching band. Allie also enjoys playing basketball and tennis in her free time. Allie’s favorite activity, along with many of the campers, is the Mohawk Walk.

Justin BleierJustin Bleier

Justin, now a senior at Wilmington High School, is joining the staff this year as a counselor, although he has been a part of the camp in some capacity for six years. Much like his sister Allie, Justin is very involved in his school and community. He plays on the golf team, is a part of the SADD club, and is in the marching band. Also, he takes lessons for the piano and saxophone, played in the UMass-Lowell Youth Wind Ensemble, and also plays the guitar and drums. Justin enjoys capture the flag, high climbing and pioneering.

Cole CarterCole Carter

Wilmington High School senior Cole Carter has a full plate of activities. He was the captain of the Varsity Cross Country team, and also played on the Hockey and Lacrosse teams. Cole is in the National Honor Society, Co-Editor In Chief of the yearbook, Class Treasurer, is in the Rotary Interact Club, and an MIAA Student Ambassador. Cole plans to attend eitherĀ Penn StateĀ and aspires to study education. Cole, going into his sixth year at camp, enjoys running and traveling, and his favorite activities are high climbing and Louie’s Labyrinth.

Andrew LarosaAndrew LaRosa

Andrew, entering his eighth year at camp, is a senior at Wilmington High School. He is a member of the cross country team, the GSA club, and the Foreign Language Club. In his spare time, Andrew concentrates on music. He plays the drums as well as recording his own music. When at camp, Andrew looks forwards to the problem solver games, and anything that involves teamwork.

Brett Meuse

Brett Meuse has been a part of camp since he was in the first grade. Now, a senior at Wilmington High School, Brett plans on attending American University in Washington, D.C. in the fall to study International Affairs. Brett has been a captain of the JV Baseball team, been in the Model UN/Debate Club, and Rotary Interact. Brett loves playing baseball and hockey, and swimming. Brett loves climbing and enjoys a good problem solver.

Jordan Russell

Jordan is the newest staff member at Camp 40. A 2007 graduate of Tewksbury Memorial High School, Jordan now attends UMass-Lowell, where she studies education. She is currently a substitute teacher in the Wilmington School system. Jordan enjoys playing field hockey and basketball and also enjoys dance. Jordan loves the outdoors, especially swimming. Her favorite activity is Slamma Jamma.

Cam ShepardCam Shepard

Cam Shepard is yet another long time member of Summer Adventure. Cam always keeps the campers and staff laughing and having a good time. Cam, who just graduated from Wilmington High, will be attending Southern New Hampshire University in the fall. Cam is a huge basketball fan, particularly NCAA basketball. His favorite activity is high climbing.

Kerri Stinson

Kerri is entering her second year at Camp. A graduate of Arlington Catholic in 2007, Kerri will soon be a senior at Florida Southern University, where she studies communications. She currently is a writer for the Town Crier newspaper, and she is also a writer for her school newspaper. Kerri enjoys being outdoors and working with campers, particularly for team building games.
