Our Director

Rick Barry- Camp Director

Mr. Barry has been with Camp 40 Acres Summer Adventure since it’s inception in 2003. He graduated from Wilmington High School in 1973, and later the University of Massachusetts- Amherst with a degree in Elementary Education in 1977. Mr. Barry was also a standout athlete, compiling seven varsity letters, five in track and field and two in football.

Mr. Barry has a passion for the outdoors, including canoing and camping. He is currently a teacher at the Wilmington Middle School.

Mr. Barry resides in Wilmington with his wife Kathy and his four sons, Michael, Thomas, Richard and Patrick. 

 

Tom Barry- Programming CoordinatorOur Programming and Staff Coordinator

Tom Barry, a junior at UMass-Dartmouth, has a passion for Camp 40 Acres. He works year-round to improve the camp and think of new and exciting activities for the campers. Tom is studying business at school, while he works in a variety of on-campus organizations. Tom was heavily involved in student government and the Rotary Club in his time at Wilmington High School. Tom’s spirit of volunteerism is infectious, and is apparent in his level of energy and positive attitude he brings to camp every single day.

Our Administrative CoordinatorLindsey McKenna- Administrative Coordinator

 Lindsey, a Boston College graduate, has been a part of Summer Adventure since the beginning. A Wilmington High School graduate, Lindsey loves playing field hockey, participating in the Relay for Life program, and tap dancing. Lindsey is also a fan of arts and crafts. At camp, Lindsey enjoys teamwork activities, such as the Poison Peanut Butter Pit and the Meuse.

Lou CimagliaLou Cimaglia- Marketing Coordinator

A junior at Westfield State College, Lou is majoring in Public and Corporate Communications, with a minor in economics. He is involved in Student Government and is also a Student Ambassador at WSC. Lou was Class President for all four years at Wilmington High School, from where he graduated in 2008. In his spare time, Lou enjoys watching sports and writing. This summer will be Lou’s second year at Camp 40 Acres. He enjoys the Mohawk Walk and Arachnophobia, but his favorite activity is Louie’s Labyrinth.
